SWAIFDEE Forest Shade Sizes: 5×9×7.5 to 12×14×10

Forest etching stays constant across several SWAIFDEE drums. Size is what changes. Titles write dimensions as top × bottom × height in inches. Match those three numbers and the fitter before you pick a finish. Measure the shade you already own—or the lamp harp—then step to the closest parent in the table below instead of guessing from photos alone.

| Parent | Top × bottom × height | Silhouette notes |
|---|---|---|
| 5×9×7.5" Forest Etched | 5" × 9" × 7.5" | Compact antique bronze drum for shorter table lamps |
| 7×13×7.8" Black & Gold Forest | ~7" × 13" × 7.8" | Wider bottom flare; black/gold contrast |
| 10×12×8" Forest Iron | 10" × 12" × 8" | Mid drum; antique bronze and gold cues; spider fitter language |
| 12×14×10" Antique Bronze | ~12" × 14" × 10" | Larger coverage for table or floor lamps |
Read the title left to right: top opening, bottom opening, then height. A taller height changes how much of the bulb you see and how far light spills sideways. A wider bottom changes clearance against the base and nearby furniture.
Pick compact when…
The lamp is short and a tall drum would look top-heavy. The 5×9×7.5" Forest Etched Shade is the shortest forest height in this range. Measure harp clearance before swapping. Keep the bottom edge above the socket so the shade does not sit on the bulb, and confirm the antique bronze forest motif matches the rest of the room before you order.
Pick mid when…
You need a balanced replacement drum. The 10×12×8" Forest Iron Shade sits between compact 7.5" heights and larger 10" drums. Clip-to-ring assembly notes appear on the shop page; confirm spider-with-harp on the fixture. Mid size is the usual swap when the old fabric drum is roughly 8" tall and you want metal forest etching without jumping to a floor-lamp scale.
Pick wider flare when…
You want a broader bottom and darker exterior cues. The 7×13×7.8" Black & Gold Forest needs clearance for the 13" bottom against the base and surrounding furniture. Check nightstand edges and lamp-to-wall gaps so the flare does not scrape paint or knock into a headboard when you dust.
Pick large when…
Floor lamps or tall table lamps need more coverage. The 12×14×10" Antique Bronze Shade changes light spill versus shorter 7.5-8" drums. Secure the fitter; metal drums weigh more than fabric. Recheck harp length and finial after the swap so the shade sits level and does not tip the lamp.
Quick measure before you buy
- Measure top opening, bottom opening, and height of the current shade in inches.
- Note spider-with-harp versus other fitter language on the shop page.
- Check bottom clearance to the base and to nearby furniture.
- Match the closest parent in the table; do not mix forest sizes with starry or lotus titles just because the finish looks similar.
Starry and lotus parents swap motif, not this measuring path. See the SWAIFDEE review hub and the lamp shade guide.
